About the job

At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." UX Programs & Operations drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user-centered development. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to create industry-leading products based on user insights.

As a UX Program Manager, you will combine expert project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions. Your role is to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure deadlines are met. You will harmonize the work of various UX disciplines and cross-functional partners to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.

The Health UX team at Google is responsible for consumer health experiences, including the Google Health app, alongside health experiences on smartwatches and wearable devices. Our mission is to build products that empower users to live active, healthy lives by making health and fitness data accessible and useful. We are a mission-driven group of designers, writers, and researchers working across software and hardware interfaces and collaborating with medical experts, doctors, and coaches.

We are shifting to an iterative launch cycle and are looking for a Program Manager who is comfortable in the 0-to-1 space to drive complex, cross-functional programs. Because our team is split across Mountain View and London, you will collaborate closely across time zones, with standard collaborative team hours from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM PT. If you are passionate about wellness, wearable technology, and establishing seamless operational rhythms, we would love to connect with you.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
