Job Description

Are you interested in designing physical products that people can touch, wear, and trust? At Jabra, part of GN, we are looking for a UX Designer to join our Product UX team with a focus on Interaction and Human Factors, helping shape the next generation of headset experiences, with particular emphasis on our TWS earbuds portfolio.

In the role as UX Designer in the Product UX team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will design intuitive, user-centered physical product experiences by turning human needs, ergonomic insights, business goals, and technical possibilities into meaningful headset solutions. A key part of the role is improving the wearing experience of our products through a deep understanding of anthropometric data, including human head and ear sizes, shapes, and variation.

The team you will be part of:

You will become part of a global Product UX team of 13 designers based in Denmark and China. The team works closely across Design, R&D, and Product Management to create experiences that combine usability, comfort, and performance at the best level.

Within GN’s Design department in the Enterprise Division, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Industrial Design and CMF, as well as key partners across Software, Mechanics, and Product Management. Our team culture is defined by curiosity, collaboration, and a shared vision to provide empowering and delightful experiences through effective and coherent touchpoints.

This role is well suited to an early-career designer who has already gained some practical experience and is motivated to grow in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Contribute to the design of intuitive, user-friendly physical experiences for headset products, with a particular focus on TWS earbuds
  • Support the development of physical interaction concepts, flows, and interface principles based on research insights, stakeholder input, and technical constraints
  • Explore anthropometric data and ergonomic considerations to help inform designs that improve fit, comfort, and long-term wearing experience
  • Build and test physical prototypes, mock-ups, and interaction rigs to validate ideas and communicate concepts clearly
  • Help define and refine UX requirements in collaboration with Product Management, Software, Mechanics, and other key stakeholders
  • Work across disciplines to translate user needs and product requirements into simple, well-designed, and feasible product experiences
  • Contribute to solving interaction challenges and support the continued development of high-quality UX outcomes across products and projects

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Design or a related field
  • Are early in your career and have already gained some practical experience through a full-time role, internships, or other relevant practical work
  • Bring a clear interest in physical UX, product design, or product-making
  • Have a genuine interest in ergonomics, anthropometry, and the human factors that shape great wearing experiences
  • Enjoy going deep into user needs and physical product details to create solutions that are both desirable and highly usable
  • Are comfortable collaborating across functions and engaging with different stakeholders
  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, and thrive in a global environment with diverse perspectives and backgrounds
  • It is beneficial to have experience with physical prototyping, ergonomic testing, and wearable consumer products
