Job Description

Amazon Now operations is looking for an experienced Operations manager with 5+ years of a strong record of achieving results in Under the roof Fulfillment Operations (UTR). The UTR Operations manage role will be leading UTR across Egypt including Daily/weekly/monthly safety, Quality, Customer experience and productivity metrics, Operations review and openings of new dark stores and management for UTR area managers team to scale-up the business. We are looking to hire a manager to join the team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, & oversees 3rd Party Vendors for Under the roof operations
When you join Amazon as an Operations Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to make sure your area of the business keeps pace with demand. In this hands-on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues/teams to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same.

Key job responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
- Lead Full Under the Roof (UTR) operations for Egypt, Amazon now to achieve quality, productivity and SLAs are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts
- Planning for Tier 1, 2 events to deliver up to business expansion.
- Analyze and implement corrective actions to make sure quality, productivity and SLAs are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all stores
- Manage UTR operations with 3P to drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly plan in-line with other stakeholders management.
- Manage UTR area managers to have a standardized daily routine for managers and supervisors managing UTR in each dark store
- Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture
- Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer experience
- Expand the team with hiring new talents according to the business expansion plan
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
