Summary

This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies within various City departments.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of general maintenance and construction activities related to facility maintenance, to include carpentry, plumbing, roofing, concrete work, and safety implementation. Reports to the Facilities Manager or their designee.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with three to five years’ experience in related trade areas to include carpentry, plumbing, construction, maintenance, etc.; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, division and department heads, public/private sector contacts, and City contractors.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record held throughout employment.
