AMPORTS is a leading provider of port-based automotive and logistics services supporting customers across the United States. The Finance team supports accurate, timely financial processing and reporting at corporate and facility levels, enabling operational continuity and strong internal controls.
Perform general maintenance on vehicles as they process through the operation.
· Use jump cables on vehicles to restart.
· Charge high and low voltage cars.
· Perform tire pressure checks on cars.
· Install solar panels for car charge.
· Scan car locations.
· Responsible for vehicle maintenance.
· Maintain solar panels.
· Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal.
· Must be detail oriented.
· Ability to solve problems.
· Ability to work as a team.
· Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
· Punctual and dependable person.
This position has no direct reports.
Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.).
Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
Basic personal computer skills.
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge
