Hawaii Water Service
The Utility Worker is responsible for field operations and maintenance work and performs relief work under various classifications in the waste water field. The work is performed under direct supervision and also requires the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. The position is located in Waikoloa, HI.

Adjust or replace meter boxes as necessary
Performs work on site at assigned location

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or possession of a GED.
Construction or plumbing experience equivalent to a laborer or apprentice.
Valid Driver’s License
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
*Salary Range for Utility Worker:$45,700 - $76,600
*Salary Range for Utility Operator I-III: $49,600 – 122,300
*Title and Payscale will be dependent upon certification level
