Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Utility Technician based in Richmond, VA.
You’ll coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures, conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations. Provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you'll do as a Utility Technician:
- Based out of our Richmond, VA service center
- Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards
- Ensure that the workplace is well maintained and clean.
- Maintain documentation either paper and electronic as per site specifics.
- Adhere to 5S and QHSE procedures.
- Work strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload rental equipment and materials with large and small forklifts
- Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery
- Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center
- Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized and up to safety standards
- Wash rental equipment
- Inspect and repair cable
You are:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Embrace and promote safety culture
- Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
- Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance
- Able to work overtime, travel and on-call
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.

Other essential job requirements
- Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts
- Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices
- Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level
- Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders
- Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat
