Summary:
As Team Members of the Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Team, the utility Technician is responsible for performing slot machine moves, routine preventive maintenance, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all electronic and mechanical slot equipment. The Utility Technician will maintain current knowledge of manufacturer updates and apply that knowledge to support ongoing maintenance efforts, ensuring the casino remains operational, safe and compliant with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct slot machine moves, including preparation, power cord stringing, and bolting machines securely to slot stands.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on slot machines and related equipment, including cleaning calibration, and troubleshooting
- Test and maintain touch screens, button functions, CPUs, fans and circuit boards to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and OSHA regulations related to electrical and chemical safety.
- Stay current with manufacturer updates, new technologies, and best practices for slot machine maintenance.
- Respond promptly to work orders and guest or team member inquiries regarding slot machine issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections.
- Assist with slot machine moves and installations as needed, including stringing power cords and securing equipment.
- Use manual dexterity and technical skills to operate related maintenance tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with Team Members and Management regarding maintenance status and safety concerns.
- Verify received items against invoices and purchase orders, ensuring proper storage (including food safety and sanitation) and distribution.
- Coordinate shipments to and from property, ensuring inventory and supply adequacy.
- Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements, as well as CRCR policies, internal controls, and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Manage stock control, inventory reconciliation, and the generation of inventory reports for distribution.
- Conduct monthly inventories to identify and minimize variances.
- Physically load, unload, transport, and store items delivered or picked up.
- Assist in managing hazardous communications and ensure compliance with health, safety, food sanitation, and workplace safety standards, including adherence to Health Department requirements and implementing necessary operational adjustments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalency Certificate).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, policies and procedures.
- Basic math skills
