Job Description

Support production areas; unload soil hampers from trailers and stage soil hampers, able to move hampers weighting up to 1000 pounds dump soiled linen and provide sheets to the pickers along with clearing any equipment jams.

• Support the soil and sheet production area
• Unloading soil hampers from trailers and stage for dumping
• Assisting in dumping soil and sorting process
• Working within the linen finishing area providing sheets for the pickers and clearing any sheet equipment jams

• Work requires ability to lift and carry approximately 110 - 120 pounds and ability to push and/or pull approximately 300 - 400 pounds on wheels.
• Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the work day.
• Must be able to stand long periods of time.
• Must be able to move 750 LBS. of soil filled hampers on wheels

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
• The physical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
• The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
• The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
• Must be able to work in an environment that is hot or cold.
• Must be able to push and pull heavy carts.
• Must be able to maneuver in small work areas.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
