We are College Utilitiesworking with Utility Services of Alaska and Golden Heart Utilities to bring safe and clean water and wastewater operations to Fairbanks, Alaska. Together these three companies are known as Fairbanks Sewer and Water; we are owned by Nexus Water Group.

Fairbanks Sewer and Water has an opportunity for a College Utilities for a Utility Operator The position is responsible for performing operations and maintenance on water and wastewater utility infrastructure as well as construction of new water mains and sewer mains and associated infrastructure. The selected candidate must obtain the required ADEC certifications for the level rating of the utilities within four (4) years of hire. The selected candidate must obtain and maintain a valid State of Alaska Commercial Driver’s License within one (1) year of hire.
Work Hours and Schedule
This position will be based in Fairbanks, AK Schedule is Monday through Friday. After-hour and weekend on-call support may be required. Must be available to work shift work; weekend scheduling may be required.
