Job Description

  • Ensure all utility operation activities comply with ESH, legal, and company requirements.
  • Ensure proper implementation of LOTO, risk assessment, SOP, MOP, and emergency procedures.
  • Lead and control the daily operation of plant utility systems to ensure continuous and reliable supply to production.
  • Monitor operating conditions, utility consumption, alarms, abnormalities, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure utility systems are operated within approved operating parameters and company standards.
  • Coordinate response to utility breakdowns, abnormal conditions, and emergency situations.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for recurring utility problems.
  • Develop and implement actions to improve utility reliability and availability.
  • Coordinate planned shutdowns, maintenance activities, and utility isolation with Production and Maintenance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce electricity, steam, compressed air, chilled water, water, and other utility consumption.
  • Lead utility optimization activities and energy-saving projects.
  • Review equipment condition and identify potential failure risks,participate in MFMEA/FMEA and reliability improvement activities.
  • Support development of critical spare-parts strategies for utility equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Additional qualifications in Energy Management, Maintenance Management, or Business Management are an advantage.
  • 5-7 years of experience in utility operation, maintenance, facility engineering, energy management, or a similar technical position.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing or leading a technical team.
  • Practical experience with:
  • Steam boilers and steam systems
  • Compressors and compressed-air systems
  • Chillers and cooling systems
  • Pumps and water systems
  • Utility equipment and infrastructure
  • Experience in energy efficiency and utility optimization is highly desirable.
  • Experience with reliability improvement, FMEA/MFMEA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement is an advantage.
  • Good command of English
