In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals to collect essential field data using advanced Trimble RTK/GPS technology and underground utility locating equipment.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• 📡 Collect accurate field data during surveying and utility locating operations
• 🛰️ Operate Trimble RTK/GPS equipment and underground utility locating tools
• ✏️ Create clear field sketches documenting completed work
• 🗺️ Interpret utility maps, construction plans, and as-built drawings
• 🤝 Work independently or alongside a survey crew to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements

✅ What You Bring

• 🌦️ Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 💪 Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• 👥 Comfortable working in a team environment and following verbal instructions
• 🔎 Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• 🚗 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and eligibility for company insurance
• 🧪 Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check

⭐ Bonus Points If You Have

• 📡 Experience with electromagnetic multi-frequency locating tools
• 🏗️ Previous utility locating or survey field experience
• ✏️ Strong sketching and field documentation skills
• 🗺️ Ability to read and interpret utility maps, plans, and construction drawings
• 🔄 Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
