Job Description

Our team is expanding to Charlotte, NC. We are looking for a commercial driver with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience to join our team as a Utility Driver. This is a full-time position. We are looking for a driver that has the confidence and ability to drive through the mountains and snow. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. Starting hourly rate is: $26-$27

Schedule: Midnight start time and 12-hour shifts, 5 days a week one overnight per week.

What you'll do:

  • Handle 2" to 3" hoses pumping out grease trap material and used cooking oil.
  • Clean area around tanks.
  • Deliver/remove/relocate UCO tanks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to drive:

  • A valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers license with 3 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Tanker Endorsement (or willing to get prior to first day).
  • Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.
  • DOT certified medical card.
  • The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

Working Conditions:

  • Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
  • Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
  • Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
  • Handling grease coated equipment.
