At Assetlink Village Services (AVS), we do more than manage mining villages, we help create clean, safe, and welcoming environments that support people living and working away from home. Since expanding into the Mining Sector in 2020, AVS has continued to grow across remote Australian locations, and we’re looking for motivated and reliable team members who want to grow with us.

As a Utility All Rounder, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day experience of village residents by supporting housekeeping, hospitality, dining, cleaning, and general village operations. As AVS continues to expand across remote WA operations, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from reliable and team-focused Utility All Rounders interested in joining our growing Village Services division

About the Role

As a Utility All Rounder, you will support multiple areas of village operations to help deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and fellow team members across remote WA sites.

You will be responsible for:

• Housekeeping and accommodation room cleaning
• Cleaning village facilities, amenities, and communal areas
• Supporting kitchen and dining room operations
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties
• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all work areas
• Supporting tavern and hospitality services where required
• Waste management and general village upkeep
• Grounds maintenance and outdoor cleaning duties
• Working collaboratively with village teams to support operational requirements
• Contributing to a positive team culture and safe working environment
• Flexibility to work across different service areas and shifts as required

You Will Bring:

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, catering, or utility experience
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• The ability to work efficiently in physically demanding environments
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Flexibility and adaptability across different work areas
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• The ability to work well within a team-focused environment
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

Essential Requirements

• Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening (LABDAS)
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence
• RSA Certificate
• Full Australian Working Rights

Highly Regarded

• Previous FIFO or remote site experience
• Forklift Licence
• Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Experience within hospitality, housekeeping, or village operations
• Experience working within mining village or remote accommodation environments
