Entry-Level Manufacturing Trainee – your next job opportunity

Valmet – Neenah is hiring entry-level Manufacturing Trainees to join our production team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain a well-rounded manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Trainee at Valmet – Neenah, you will experience a variety of production activities designed to build a foundation in manufacturing operations. You will receive training in blast operator and floorman duties, learning how to maintain product quality through proper procedures and attention to detail. You will be instructed in cleaning and preparing parts for assembly, and gain experience in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals. The role involves organizing materials, maintaining accurate production records, and safely handling chemicals used for mixing, cleaning, and disposal. The position requires applying basic math skills in practical situations, following instructions in various formats, and operating cranes and forklifts safely. Proficiency in computer systems is essential, as is a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Flexibility is key, as you will be expected to respond to overtime needs and shift changes based on production demands.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to cover vacations, extended leaves, and increased production demands. Weekly shifts may vary based on operational needs.
