Job Description

USSOCOM J3 International (J3-I) is seeking a highly skilled and International Operations and Plans Support SME. In this position you will provide specialized expertise in supporting the Division’s international operations and planning efforts, particularly during high-demand periods such as SOF Week.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide planning expertise in support of planning and coordinating international engagement events, seminars, and conferences.

· Provide support to the management of operations section/center procedures to include but not limited to battle tracking, battle rhythm events and management.

· Assist in the development and preparation of briefings, presentation, after action reports, lessons learned and readouts of events.

· Assist in the coordination, planning and execution of international bilateral and multilateral engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years’ experience working at a TSOC or higher-level command.
• 2 years’ experience planning and/or managing military operations.
• 1 year experience in a multinational environment. Experience can be military, academic, business, non-governmental organization, or with another agency of the US Government.
• Current DoD Secret clearance and eligible for SECRET access

Preferred Qualifications

• Previously served at USSOCOM HQ and familiar with USSOCOM Staff functions.
