In a business project manager role, you will lead and drive strategic initiatives from a business user perspective, ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with organizational objectives. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, with accountability for delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.

How you succeed

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop project plans, and execute projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. What you do
Serve as the primary liaison for business users, ensuring their requirements are accurately represented
Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business goals
Ensure business needs are translated into functional specifications and actionable deliverables
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and sign-off
Work closely with IT PM and lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation through implementation and post-go-live support
Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Ensure readiness for deployment, including training, communication, and change management
Support smooth production rollout and transition to BAU
Provide regular project updates to management, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans
Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensure adherence to governance standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Maintain proper project documentation and audit readiness
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably within financial services
Strong experience in stakeholder management, including senior management engagement
Experience in project management methodologies; Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in stockbroking, capital markets, or trading environments is highly advantageous
Familiarity with post-trade processes; clearing & settlement a plus
