Job Description
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a User Experience Designer to join our team! The User Experience Designer supports the UX Lead by conducting user research sessions (interviews, usability tests, contextual inquiries), executing discussion guides and research protocols, and administering quantitative data collection methods (surveys, card sorting, tree testing). Observes and documents user behaviors and pain points, and compiles raw research data into clean, structured formats for synthesis.
Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of experience in User Experience Design
- Five (5) years within the last 10 years leading project life-cycle design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional User Experience Design experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years with screen mock-up tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Visio, Axure) and related prototyping tools
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience conducting usability testing, interviews, and contextual inquiry with end users
- Working knowledge of qualitative discovery methods and quantitative data collection (surveys, analytics review, A/B testing, card sorting, tree testing)
- Strong note-taking and data organization; capture and structure raw findings for leadership synthesis
- Reliable, detail-oriented execution of research protocols
- Comfort operating with ambiguous, evolving requirements typical of mission/IC environments
Clearance:
- TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
