Job Description
Sell used Class 8 semi-tractors and used trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Sell used class 8 semi-tractors and trailers by interacting with existing customers and developing new relationships.
- Communicate with customers to find out their needs.
- Follow established procedures to provide business manager with accurate sales paperwork in a timely manner.
- Coordinate service work or necessary repairs with sales manager.
- Create marketing materials.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications
This is a full time position working onsite in Des Moines, IA.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30
Job Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Course(s) of study: 4-year degree preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years' experience.
Type of Experience: Sales experience with class 8 semi-tractors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have CDL. Requires ability to use standard PC software, good verbal and written communication skills, strong transactional sales skills, ability to work in a team environment, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
