Compensation:

  • Draw / Uncapped Commission

The Used Car Salesperson is responsible for driving vehicle sales by delivering a consultative, customer-first buying experience.

This role plays a direct impact on dealership revenue by generating new business, closing profitable deals, and building long-term customer relationships that support repeat and referral sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate sales opportunities through personal outreach, referrals, social media engagement, internet leads, and walk-in traffic.
  • Greet customers professionally, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate used vehicle options.
  • Conduct engaging test drives that demonstrate vehicle features, performance, and overall value.
  • Maintain current knowledge of used inventory, pricing, incentives, and market conditions.
  • Guide customers through the full sales process including vehicle selection, trade evaluations, and introductory financing discussions.
  • Partner with the Finance & Insurance (F&I) team to finalize deals and ensure a smooth closing process.
  • Negotiate and close deals while maximizing gross profit and delivering a transparent customer experience.
  • Follow up post-sale to ensure satisfaction, generate referrals, and drive repeat business.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of automotive sales experience in a dealership environment (required).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling used vehicles in a dealership setting.
  • General Motors (GM) brand experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume dealership environment.

  • FULL TIME
  • Sundays Always Off
  • Saturday Availability Required
  • Sales Floor Hours:
    • Monday - Saturday: 9am - 9pm
