Garden Grove Hyundai is seeking an experienced and motivated Used Car Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for market trends, vehicle valuation, and inventory strategy. Pay: $5,859/month + Bonuses
Schedule: Full-time (Mon - Fri)
What You'll Do
Responsible for all faces of acquiring a used-car inventory through, direct contacts, generated leads, off site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues
Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and insures timely processing of all purchases
Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate and courteous manner.
Requires working in a fast-paced team environment, being effective as a self-starter and working individually as needs dictate
Generate leads and create appointments by researching the available used car market
Understand market tendencies and the changes to the trends in all geographic areas.
Effectively utilize lead management tools.
Compile all necessary reports, forms and other documentation on a timely basis
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Active listening skills with the ability to understand and respond effectively
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Previous sales experience preferred
Basic knowledge of the automotive market is a plus
Basic computer proficiency

The estimated monthly earning for this position is $5,859, plus bonuses (I.e. units purchased).
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PT).
