
The Manager, Project and Construction, leads the planning, coordination, and execution of significant construction projects while maintaining effective communication among stakeholders. This role involves managing project risks, budgets, and schedules to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards. The manager supports operational transitions and fosters strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. By applying analytical and project management expertise, this position drives successful project outcomes, promotes continuous improvement, and upholds company values through ethical leadership and collaborative problem-solving.
About the team:
The Central Construction Operations team leads Walmart’s and Sam's Club national Flooring and Exterior Paint programs, managing extensive store remodels across the country. This team collaborates closely with contractors, specialty installers, and field personnel to ensure projects meet specifications, timelines, and budgets. Utilizing tools like Lucernex and Wrike, the team oversees project tracking, vendor relationships, and program standards from pilot phases to full rollout. Working cross-functionally with Construction Directors, Design, Finance, and Legal, the team addresses field escalations and drives successful project execution that supports Walmart’s operational goals and customer experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
