
Responsibilities:
The Account Management Enablement Lead for US Vaccines is responsible for leading operational processes, communications and systems to maximize the Account Management team’s internal organization, cross-functional partnerships and customer-facing function. This role will report directly to the US Vaccines Account Management Lead.
This individual will work collaboratively across Pfizer Vaccines, Primary Care CEP, and other Pfizer functions (Finance, GCET, other GCO functions, etc) to continuously improve the effectiveness of Account Management. Develops and assists with execution of training, expanding capabilities and developing a best-in-class operational infrastructure. This role will proactively identify issues that could impact organizational goals and identify solutions to ensure the team can maximize business opportunity with prioritized customers.
The scope of work includes projects and programs to advance Vaccine Account Manager (VAM) and National Account Director (NAD) development & productivity. Build towards a best-in-class Account Management organization by evolving and improving the effectiveness of the Account Management operational infrastructure, training, capabilities, analytical approach, technology platforms and customer facing resources.
Partners with the Vaccines Account Leadership Team (VALT) in all aspects of the role in tight alignment with the Account Management Lead, Commercial Excellence and Team Admin. Collaborate with US Vaccines Marketing teams and their support functions to help the Account Mgt Org execute aligned plans, plan and execute meeting agendas, training and other Org Forums (Operating Plan, Tactical Planning, Org Connects & Huddles). Champion all major US Vaccines Account Management initiatives.
Define, monitor and evaluate success metrics for the account management engagement in close partnership with the commercial effectiveness (CE) team. Contribute to HQ-based CFC support platform functions such as CRM (Valkre), Dashboards and Reports, etc. Lead and manage critical projects to advance organizational effectiveness in dynamic environment and across customers of US Vaccines.
Contribute to development of Vaccines BU strategic and tactical operating plans and budgets; work with national /regional / local teams to develop aligned strategies to support execution of Org objectives.
Colleague should be skilled at communicating with colleagues at various levels of seniority across multiple functions and comfortable working closely with Functional and BU senior leadership.
Partner with Enablement Team and operations colleagues across functions to ensure consistency in operational execution across the broader Accounts, Sales and Retail organizations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
MBA (or similar advanced degree) preferred
7 or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience required
People leadership experience preferred
Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical operational environment
Prior account management experience preferred or an IDP-aligned development role for account management
Recent US Vaccines experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated success in a sales, account management or other cross-functional leadership role strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple teams / functions at Pfizer, both field and HQ-based
Understanding of the Vaccines BU and roles & responsibilities of cross functional teams (VAD/VAM/NAD/HIT Dir, Sales, Retail, Field Medical, Marketing, Enablement, IIS/Commercial Effectiveness, etc)
Fluency with creating and editing content in MS Platforms (PPT, Excel, Teams, Co-Pilot, etc)
Highly effective at utilizing current sales force technology platforms
Strong reporting and analytical capabilities to derive insights from data
Strong communication (written and verbal), influencing, negotiating, listening and interpersonal skills to effectively develop / maintain productive internal and external relationships
Effectively communicates with colleagues at all levels across multiple functions (including senior leaders in the organization) with ability to influence outcomes
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, national project management experience, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
