The US Retail Product Marketing Manager partners internally and withBest Buyand Amazon, along with other retailers on strategic marketing opportunities by supportingretail training and events, along with marketing campaigns and product launches, with the objective of driving the ASUS SBG & OPBG brands and products in the US.
This role requires strongconsumer electronics product knowledge to best support the Sr. Marketing Managers while developing strategic marketing campaigns with Best Buy andAmazonIt also requires digital marketing planning, in-store execution skills, RSPs product training skills, and account management that deliver proven results at retail
This personwill leadproduct marketing initiativesfor Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows laptops, Burst laptops, Chromebooks, Desktops/AIOs, Monitors & NetworkingFrom content management through product setups on BestBuy.com, to Blue Shirt and 3PL product training (virtually and face-to-face), competitive digital and in-store analysis, and others
The successful candidate is self-motivated, driven,has strong organizational skills,isdetailed oriented, able to work well under tight deadlines, and cross-functionally, managing multipleprojects at the same time. He/she has excellent written and verbal communication skillsand possesses strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product content management on BestBuy.comand Amazoncomfor Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows laptops, Chromebooks, Desktops/AIOs, Burst laptops, Monitors & Networking Includes:product page marketing content, A+content(syndicated content), sample quantities confirmation for internal and external marketing initiatives, product launch dates confirmation, WTB (where to buy) linksconfirmation for all GTM initiatives
- Strategic marketing support for the categories mentioned above, this includes digital campaign collaboration with Sr. Retail Marketing Managers, along with support on in-store placements, such as endcaps, countertops, walls; including but not limited to signage guidance support, agency supportCo-marketing conversations support with ecosystem partners such as Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, AMD, Google, MSFTSamples support process for partner marketing initiatives and internal marketing initiatives.
- Leads virtual and face-to-face training events with internal and external teams and agencies. Working with the Best Buy training team and partners to train their evergreen 3PL sales teams for each selling cycle (Spring and Holiday) to obtain additional ASUS in-store focus
- Leads product pages review process from start to finish with Best Buyfor all ASUS categories Works with Best Buy and the ASUS Operations team to process all requests and complete Tech Insider Reviews after product launches on BestBuy.com.
- Leads product marketing digital and in-store analysis for ASUS, providing quick summaries after new product launches (media links, reviews, PDP reviews). Executing bi-weekly in-store analysis, this includes Best Buy store visits to provide a recap for each of these categories, analyzing ASUS competitors’ placements and ASUS brand recognition.
