Who Are We?
Advancing Analytics are a market leader in delivering pioneering analytical solutions for customers all over the world. To thrive in today's market, businesses need to implement AI built on a solid, reliable Data Platform, and we are looking for you to help us build it!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone to build Advancing Analytics' presence in North America from the ground up. We are looking for somebody who has spent their career building and scaling businesses within the Databricks ecosystem. You may have worked for Databricks itself, a leading Databricks partner, a cloud hyperscaler, or a specialist Data & AI consultancy.
You will bring:
Existing relationships across Databricks US leadership and field sales teams.
Experience selling Data, AI, Analytics or Cloud Transformation services.
A track record of building new markets, territories or regions.
Experience operating within partner-led sales motions.
The ability to move comfortably between executive strategy discussions and hands-on business development.
A builder mentality and desire to be part of creating something significant.
What will you do?
Reporting into the CRO, the US GTM Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategies to drive business growth. As well as growing and leading a talented team of sales professionals you will also be accountable for Advancing Analytics’ pipeline which has the support from the team and established relationships from Databricks and the hyperscalers. Your leadership will be key in scaling the business, entering new markets, and building new markets, and building strong relationships with clients.
Skills / Approaches:
Working with the CEO and CRO, you will need to build a GTM strategy that establishes our presence in the US and enables sustainable, predictable growth. Become the primary face of Advancing Analytics within the Databricks ecosystem across North America.
Establishing trust and building strong partnerships with Databricks US Sales Leaders, Partner Leaders, and AEs is critical to the success of this role. You will need to create a robust plan to build and grow this network, as well as establish our reputation and brand in the US. This will include attending and sponsoring regional Databricks events, as well as sponsoring and attending US Sales QBRs.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the AWS and Microsoft partner ecosystems will be equally important. With support from the Alliances Director, you will need to leverage and build your network to ensure we have sufficient coverage across industry and funding-relevant conversations as they relate to our customer engagements.
You will need to contribute to how we take our services and accelerators to market, and how we effectively position these as fixed-price, outcome-based, or value-based offerings.
This role will require you to “wear many hats.” Initially, you will operate as a player-manager, balancing team leadership with direct ownership of strategic customer and prospect relationships. As we execute the US GTM plan, this will transition into a GTM leadership role, where your team owns direct customer and partner relationships, and you focus on strategy and act as an executive sponsor in key engagements.
This is a founding hire role that will evolve from player-manager to sales leader as we build momentum in the US. As the team grows around you, you will need to remain comfortable operating in both capacities.
You will own the hiring and onboarding strategy for AEs (both Core and Hunter) and BDRs.
You will own all forecasting and pipeline management for the US, reporting directly to the CRO. This includes running individual pipeline / forecasting calls with your direct reports and then "rolling" this forecast into the "all up company forecast".
What will it be like to work for Advancing Analytics?

Advancing Analytics is a multi-award-winning data consultancy specialising in modern, scalable Data and AI platforms. Founded in 2018, we have grown into a team of specialists delivering across the UK, US and EMEA, combining strong architecture with real-world delivery.
Our Databricks partnership sits at the heart of what we do. As a Databricks Elite consulting partner, we bring proven engineering standards across the Lakehouse, machine learning and Generative AI. We are home to two Databricks MVPs and over 70 Databricks certified engineers, including 11 Databricks Partner Champions. Clients choose us for dependable delivery and teams that are easy to work with.
Our partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Sigma and Tabular Editor underpin how we design and build secure, governed Data & AI.
As a recognised Microsoft partner, we hold three Advanced Specialisations in Analytics, AI and Machine Learning, and Build and Modernise AI Apps - and we are home to six Microsoft MVPs. Most of our work with Microsoft involves Azure Databricks, and we also compliment that with our expertise on Microsoft's AI Foundry platform, focusing on safe adoption and measurable outcomes - as well as supporting our clients who are using Power BI or other parts of the Microsoft Fabric platform to integrate with Databricks. The strength of our partnership with Microsoft gives us access to the product team to provide feedback on their Data & AI Platform - and crucially for our clients gives access to exclusive funding programmes to support POCs and implementations on the Azure platform.
We focus on outcomes, not hype. We train your teams, co-deliver, and leave robust solutions that perform. Our community presence reflects our values, from our YouTube channel to local tech meetups across the UK and regular speaking slots at international Data and AI conferences.
If you want a partner who blends strategic thought with hands-on excellence and keeps things straightforward, we are here to help.
