About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished leader from the transmission grid sector to drive our strategic objectives and deliver exceptional operational and financial performance. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in overhead transmission lines and proven success in leading large-scale project portfolios while connecting strategy with measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Take full ownership of achieving the companys strategic objectives, translating vision into actionable initiatives.
  • Financial Accountability: Deliver annual operating and financial results in line with company targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage deep experience in planning, design, and operations of overhead transmission lines to guide technical excellence and project success.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the delivery and management of multiple large-scale projects, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government regulators, transmission system operators (TSOs), and senior executives in the grid industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in corporate strategy formulation and lead the breakdown of strategic goals into actionable, measurable plans.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Solid background in the transmission grid sector, preferably with a focus on TSO operations.
  • Technical expertise in overhead transmission lines (planning, design, operations, and maintenance).
  • Proven experience in project portfolio delivery and management
  • Strong grasp of financial KPIs and the drivers behind business performance.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, with a track record of achieving operational and financial targets.
  • Skilled in engaging with government agencies and senior grid executives.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
