Responsibilities include: Assists in analysis, modification and design of reservoir description tools and their associated assembly and testing procedures for assigned projects which requires working knowledge of materials, components, and their applications. Prepares design calculations and specifications. Develops test procedures, conducts tests and completes test result analysis for assigned projects. Assists in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services. Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process. The design, assembly and testing procedures are based on electronics engineering and sensor principles. The reservoir description tools that will be engineered are complex electro-mechanical assemblies that require in-depth understanding of PCB functionality and design, sensor technology and geological principles to be able to simulate wellenvironments in a lab setting. Will test software to re-create well environments in a lab-setting, and to establish connectivity with various tools using Wireline cables.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Prof-Mfg-related occupation.
