Urologist Opportunity – Academic Health System

Geisinger | Central Pennsylvania

Geisinger’s Department of Urology is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join its innovative, collaborative, and nationally recognized team. State College, located in Centre County, Pennsylvania, is home to Penn State University and was recently named America’s #1 Best Small College Town by USA Today The area offers:

Practice Model

  • Approximately 50/50 split between Lewistown and Gray’s Woods
  • Many physicians live in Boalsburg or Centre Hall, offering:
    • 10–15 minute commute to Gray’s Woods
    • 20- 25 minute commute to Lewistown

Technology & Scope of Practice

  • Robotic surgery platforms, including robot access at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital
  • High-powered lasers
  • Transperitoneal and fusion biopsies
  • Epic electronic health record system

Call Schedule

  • No weekend call

Academic Opportunities

  • Participation in clinical research encouraged and supported
