JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: 103829 Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Olympia, WA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7:30a – 4p (clinic) 3 days clinic, 2 days OR 10-12 shifts/month On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a – 7a 3-4 days/month Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: Up to 16 patients/day Admissions: 2-3 Rounding: Yes Phone Consulst: 5-6 FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: IV EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 8, PAs: 3 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required General Urology Adult Laparoscopic surgeries Ureteroscopy Prostatectomy Robotic surgery Renal and bladded u/s TRUS biopsies Incontinence procedures Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotrpsy (ESWL) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: WA license or IMLC Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage for Urology department (7a-7a) as the only Urologist on call, with APP support. Conduct clinic appointments 3 days per week, including in-office procedures such as cystoscopies, fusion biopsies, bladder biopsy, UDS testing. Perform scheduled OR time averaging 2 days per week for surgical cases including laparoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries. Manage patient volumes up to 16 per day, including admissions and phone consults. Collaborate with PA-Cs, RNs, and MA staff to provide comprehensive urology care.
