Job Description

Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking apart-time (0.2 FTE) Urologist to join its growing clinical team in Brooklyn, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative academic environment dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse urban population.

Position Highlights

  • Provide comprehensive urologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions.
  • Perform urologic procedures and surgeries, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and other trainees, as applicable.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
  • Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Annual Base Salary: $72,400 (0.2 FTE)
  • Participation in 403(b) and 457 retirement plans, including a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement of $3,000–$3,500, plus one week of paid CME leave
  • Opportunity to earn annual incentive payments of up to $30,000, contingent upon meeting productivity and compliance metrics
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and recognized holidays (in accordance with institutional policy)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, prescription, disability, and life insurance coverage
