PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (for clean files)

  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (temp privileges available)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Vasectomy

  • Vasectomy reversal (not mandatory)

  • Cystoscopy (in OR)

  • Prostate procedures

  • Ureteroscopy (in OR)

  • Lithotripsy

  • Orchiopexy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) LOQ in hand

  • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

  • DEA: DEA required

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide urology services including clinic visits and operating room procedures

  • Perform 24-hour beeper call coverage during assigned periods

  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants (new APPs)

  • Manage a patient volume of 24-28 patients per day in the office/clinic

  • Perform core procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, orchiopexy
