URGENT: ODOO SPECIALIST

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Consultant to lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of our Odoo environment, with a focus on POS, large-scale inventory management, e-commerce integrations, and marketplace connectivity
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Odoo Point of Sale (POS), including integration with payment terminals.
- Set up and manage inventory for millions of SKUs, including product hierarchies, attributes, and cross-referencing for alternative or compatible parts.
- Implement advanced product search functionality to handle part numbers, OEM references, and alternates.
- Integrate shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post, etc.) directly into Odoo.
- Connect Odoo with our website and e-commerce platforms for real-time product sync.
- Manage marketplace integrations such as eBay and Amazon for seamless order flow.
- Ensure high-performance hosting for large databases and product catalogs.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for internal teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience with Odoo setup, customization, and module development
- Strong background in POS implementation and payment terminal integrations.
- Expertise in inventory and warehouse management at scale (millions of SKUs).
- Familiarity with auto parts catalogs and cross-referencing systems is a major plus.
- Hands-on experience with shipping API integrations
- Knowledge of website and marketplace connectors (eBay, Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
- Solid understanding of database optimization and hosting for large data sets.
- Ability to translate business workflows into Odoo processes.
- Strong communication and training skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with auto parts or aftermarket industries
- Familiarity with Odoo.sh, Docker, or cloud deployments
- Knowledge of SEO, e-commerce user experience, and multi-channel selling
