Some clients need someone they can count on when the day is over. If you're a dependable Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) who takes pride in providing attentive overnight support, this opportunity could be a great fit.

ComForCare Home Care is hiring an experienced overnight caregiver to provide personalized in-home senior care for a client in Wheaton, Illinois.

You'll play an important role in helping your client stay safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while receiving the one-on-one attention they deserve.

Position Details

Position: Overnight Caregiver / HHA / CNA

Shift: Overnight

Hours: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Location: Wheaton, Illinois

Schedule: Consistent Overnight Hours

Experience: Experienced Caregiver Preferred

What You'll Be Responsible For

Your focus will be providing dependable overnight assistance while maintaining the client's comfort, dignity, and safety.

  • Provide professional overnight in-home care and companionship.
  • Assist with nighttime routines and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with incontinence care and maintain personal dignity.
  • Provide safe mobility assistance, repositioning, transfers, and fall prevention.
  • Assist with the use of mobility equipment as directed by the care plan.
  • Provide medication reminders according to established care procedures.
  • Prepare light meals, snacks, or beverages when needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
  • Monitor the client's comfort and safety throughout the overnight shift.
  • Recognize and report changes in the client's condition.
  • Follow the individualized care plan and maintain accurate documentation.

The Caregiver We're Looking For

We want someone who understands that overnight caregiving requires patience, attentiveness, reliability, and trust.

  • Previous professional caregiving experience required.
  • Experience in overnight care, senior care, elderly care, home care, or private duty care preferred.
  • CNA certification or HHA experience is a plus.
  • Experience with personal care and ADL assistance preferred.
  • Dementia or Alzheimer's care experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
  • Dependable, compassionate, patient, and safety-conscious.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Current Auto Insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
