If you love the pace of emergency work but prefer a roster that still leaves space for a life outside the clinic, this could be the sweet spot.

AEC Noosa is looking for a permanent Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our after hours service on the Sunshine Coast. You’ll see the cases that keep things interesting, build confidence quickly, and work alongside a team that values great medicine, calm communication, and genuine support.

Not based in Noosa? We offer attractive relocation support or financial incentives to make the move easy. Already local? Let’s chat, we have competitive packages worth discussing.

The roster

This role is focused on after hours urgent care, with evening shifts and a rotating weekend component. Shifts can look like:

Week 2: 3 x weekday shifts (5 pm–11 pm) + 2 x weekend shifts (10 hours)

(Or a similar pattern, designed to keep things fair and sustainable across the team.)

About AEC Noosa

Our purpose is simple: deliver the highest standards of emergency and critical care medicine and surgery, with professionalism and compassion. In urgent care, you’ll play a key role in triage, stabilisation, emergency consults, and supporting pets and their people through stressful moments, with escalation pathways and teamwork at the centre of how we operate.
