Schedule: Flexible | Minimum 4 shifts per month
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: $120–$140/hour (based on experience) + bonus

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive urgent care environment while maintaining a manageable schedule.

You’ll practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced staff and accessible medical leadership.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations
• Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing in the clinic network
• Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license
• Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred)
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
