Title: Upward Bound Math Science - Science Instructor

Salary Range: $$28-30/hour

Contract Term Length: Not Applicable

Standard Hours: 14-16 hours per week

Temporary Part-Time Science Instructor to teach a variety of subjects of science including biology &/or general science with hands on activities and labs in the summer 2026 for the Upward Bound Math Science Program.

Job Duties:

Teach two - three classes Monday-Thursday, assist administrative staff, attend instructor meetings, and attend an awards banquet. Incorporate ACT Science questions test prep, and hands-on activities into courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, preferred degree in Science.

Applicant must have a strong academic background, have a desire to prepare high school students for college-level work, show sensitivity to and concern for all students, and be available to work the full four weeks.
