Notice of Extra-Curricular Vacancy

Position Title: (Up to 8) Mentor Teacher(s)

Immediate Supervisor: Curriculum Coordinator

Qualifications: Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate
Completed the Teachers Mentor Training Program
Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience
Satisfactory past evaluations

Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and professional support to beginning school teacher per West Virginia State Board Policy 5900
Observe teacher as needed
Provide feedback monthly to candidate

Salary: $300.00 per semester per mentee
