Our veterinarians and veterinary staff at Animal Medical Center of Lindstrom are fervent animal lovers and advocates for treating dogs and cats like the family they are.

Our pet hospital in Lindstrom, MN, has so much to offer the community, striving to provide the best medical, surgical and dental care to our patients in a compassionate, caring and friendly manner.

We are so excited to add another veterinarian to our team that we are offering up to a $75,000 sign on bonus package! And, up to $25K in relocation!

New Grads Welcome!!!

Our doctors and staff are enthusiastic animal lovers and welcome another great individual to join our mission. We welcome DVMs of all experience levels, including new graduates, as we would be eager and happy to provide mentorship!

Though active, our hospital is home to a relaxed work environment. We currently have two doctors, two certified veterinary technicians, and an excellent practice manager (who doubles as a technician) working happily and cohesively with one another. Our friendly and diverse clientele comes from urban and rural backgrounds, making everyone feel welcome and included.

About the area: Just 20 minutes from St Croix, Lindstrom is an area of dense natural beauty virtually surrounded by lakes. Crossing the channel bridge between North and South Lindstrom Lake, you enter a bustling city filled with unique shops and eateries. Known as "Little Sweden," this historic town draws visitors in with its charm and not-to-be-missed Scandinavian donuts! Year-round, you can find our residents engaging in many outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, or camping. Lindstrom is also known for its exceptional community atmosphere, housing, and school systems.

  • Schedule: We offer a fixed 4-day work week with rotating half-day Saturdays and no on-call.
  • Compensation Let’s talk! Lay out your expectations upfront. We consider each candidate individually, taking into account their skills and experience, to offer compensation that allows you to live comfortably.
  • PTO-Unlimited. Yes, you read that right!
  • Management: Maintain an open line of communication with your leadership team. You will be heard and taken seriously!
  • Continued Education: Ample CE allowance and FREE internal CE opportunities, including wet labs!
  • Professional growth support Medical autonomy, support of new implementations brought to the practice, workshops, and retreats dedicated to professional development.
  • Mentorship We offer a 6-month+ hybrid program customized to new grads based on their competencies and clinical and non-clinical development needs. An onsite dedicated mentor is with you every step of the way!
  • Helping Hands: Have an adequate number of skilled support staff by your side, with a 1:1 doctor-to-tech ratio. Focus on your patients, and let your techs do what they do best!
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, company-paid short-term disability, 401(k), and Roth(k). If enrolled, a monthly stipend to cover your individual health insurance premium is also included.
  • We’ve got you covered: Liability coverage, State Licensure dues, DEA Registration, AVMA and state VMA memberships, and any other associated memberships will also be paid for should they become due during employment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
