Unqualified Kaiako (Teacher) – Central Hamilton Early Learning Centre

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable unqualified Kaiako to support our teaching team in providing a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for Tamariki. You will need a genuine passion for working children with a warm, patient and positive approach. Good communication and teamwork skills are a must.

We offer a welcoming, inclusive team environment with mentoring and support from experienced Kaiako. Plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development at a well-resourced centre in a convenience central location with plenty of parking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Kaiako in delivering daily learning programmes
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children and whānau
  • Assist with routines including meals, rest times, and play-based activities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture
