CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

  • Position empty trees in front ofhouse

  • Pull meat from bars, hang and properly space so no bellies touch.

  • Start and stop rotary house to position barstodoorway for unloading.

  • Push full trees to scale,scaleand record weight on two-partticket

  • Push scale trees intoblastcooler and arrange as per scheduled pattern.

  • Cut off long bellies ifrequiredso they do not touchfloor

  • Blast and prepress cooler, upkeepcondensationand paperwork completion.

  • Rearrange trees inprepresscooler.

  • Wipedownceiling before starting House pulling.

  • Make sure bellies are unloaded and hung per tree as per proper count.

  • Make sure no bellies touch.

  • Make sure each tree is scaled andticketwith weightishung ontree

  • Load blast cooler according to schedule received in the morning.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)preferred

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamicenvironment.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:

  • A pencil or pen, tags, unloading card, unloading schedule, blast loading schedule.

  • Must be able tolift upto60lbs.

  • Must meet 5’8” heightrequirement

  • Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves.

MANDATORY TRAINING/COMPETENCY TO BE EARNED:

  • Proper lifting, PPE,Fall protection.
