We are looking for a part-time Unleashed Assistant to join our team! Unleashed is a full-service boarding and grooming facility that is staffed 24/7!
This is a part-time position. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; hours may vary
KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION:
- Cleaning & Sanitation
- Thoroughly cleans and disinfects kennels/runs using proper sanitation protocols
- Sprays and sanitizes kennel walls, floors, and doors; allows proper dwell time and ensures complete cleanliness
- Cleans glass kennel doors to remove streaks and maintain presentation standards
- Performs deep cleaning of assigned areas as scheduled (daily/weekly tasks)
- Maintains cleanliness of all common areas including hallways, yards, bathing areas, and prep spaces
- Scoops and removes waste from all outdoor areas promptly and consistently
- Follows all disinfectant protocols to prevent spread of illness
- Laundry & Belongings Management
- Washes, dries, and properly stores all bedding, towels, and facility laundry
- Pulls pet belongings (beds, blankets, toys) from kennels for cleaning based on daily sheets
- Follows laundry board/process to ensure efficiency and organization
- Returns clean items to designated cubbies or kennels
- Monitors condition of items and reports excessive wear or damage
III. Facility Support & Daily Operations
- Empties trash and replaces liners throughout the facility
- Restocks supplies including towels, cleaning products, and paper goods
- Maintains organization of storage areas and supply rooms
- Assists with dishwashing and sanitation of bowls and feeding items
- Supports bathing area cleanliness (tubs, floors, supplies)
- Helps maintain overall readiness of the facility for daily operations
- Limited Animal Support
- Assists with non-direct animal care tasks when needed (moving items, setup, etc.)
- May assist with basic, low-interaction support tasks as directed
- Maintains awareness of pets but does not engage in primary animal handling responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout a shift
- Multitask a heavy caseload
- Have phone etiquette and customer service qualities
