Job Description

Corvid Technologies will be visiting the University of Cincinnati for the Engineering Career Fair on September 16th to recruit engineers and scientists to work on a variety of R&D, product development, and computational analysis positions. Entry level engineers will quickly apply their education to tasks, developing next-generation technology for DoD and commercial customers. Recent graduates at Corvid benefit from hands-on training and immediate technical challenges that drive the organization forward.

Positions for BS, MS, and PhD students are available in several locations, including Mooresville, NC (Headquarters), Huntsville, AL (Regional Office), Cincinnati, OH (Regional Office), and the National Capital Region (Regional Office).

Corvid provides a variety of engineering tasks in the following disciplines:

  • Aerospace Engineering (M&S, GNC, Missile Design, CFD Development, and more)
  • Electrical & Computer Engineering (Electrical Design, Fuzing, GNC/Control Systems, Radar Engineering, FPGA, AI/ML, and more)
  • Mechanical Engineering (Structural Analysis, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Scientific, and more)
  • Computer Science (HPC, Scientific/Computational Software Development, Information Technology, Software Development)
  • Physics & Applied Math (Radar Analysis, Computational Analysis, AI/ML)

Full-Time Opportunities for December and May graduates will be available in most Corvid locations and across our primary business areas:

  • Advanced Strike - Delivering mission-proven lethality solutions through advanced modeling, testing, and rapid prototyping. Our expertise spans warheads, fuzing, and blast and ballistic analysis for U.S. and allied weapons programs
  • Digital Engineering Solutions - Delivering advanced digital engineering by combining AI, high-fidelity modeling and simulation, immersive visualization, and high-performance computing to accelerate design and drive optimized, data-driven solutions
  • Launch Systems - Designing and delivering robust launch systems and target solutions that provide precise, repeatable performance to support hypersonic testing, weapons evaluation, and mission-critical system validation
  • Manufacturing & Prototyping - Bridging digital design and physical reality through rapid prototyping, advanced manufacturing, and integrated test and evaluation
  • Missile Defense - Strengthening Missile Defense Agency missions through modeling, simulation, testing, and engineering support that accelerates threat-informed, mission-ready missile defense solutions
  • Range Engineering - Providing comprehensive range systems support by combining advanced computational analysis with mobile, multi-domain on-range operations, maintenance, and sustainment to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget test execution

Requirements:

  • Corvid requires US Citizenship, and most positions require the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a variety of STEM Disciplines (most common degrees listed above) with at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Specific openings have individual desired skills ranging from C/C++ to Ansys - this position is designed to capture new graduates for a variety of openings that start after graduation
  • This position is for graduating students interested in full-time positions (interns can apply to the Summer Intern position also posted)
