About the role
We are seeking switched-on and professional Security Officers to join the security team at a leading Australian university located in Sydney’s CBD. This is a full-time patrolling role, ideal for candidates who enjoy being active on shift and engaging with people in a customer-focused environment.
The campus operates 24/7, and successful candidates must be available to work a rotating roster, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays The position is paid at $27.91 per hour plus superannuation and applicable shift loadings
Key responsibilities
Conduct foot and mobile patrols across campus facilities
Maintain a visible security presence and provide high-quality customer service
Respond to incidents, alarms and requests for assistance
Enforce site policies and safety procedures
Liaise professionally with students, staff, visitors and contractors
Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation
Essential requirements
Current NSW security licence
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Previous experience in a security role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
