We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Service Delivery & Capability Unit within the Resource Consents Group. This pivotal role is responsible for strengthening regulatory practice by lifting capability, improving systems and processes, and maintaining robust quality and knowledge frameworks that support high-quality planning and decision making.
You will lead a team responsible for training, quality assurance, practice and training, business improvement, and stakeholder engagement, while implementing Value for Money initiatives that improve efficiency and regulatory performance. You will also support the Group's preparedness for Resource Management reform, ensuring our people, systems and processes are ready to implement a new legislative framework.
Working collaboratively across Council, partner agencies, industry, and communities, you will support the delivery of Māori outcomes and the Māori Responsiveness Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau.
