Manage the Network

• The first and foremost duty is to build the networks by taking initiative and consideration of various factors like, bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security. He must plan and design in advance and should participate in the implementation of network designs.
• SDWAN expert level knowledge about its design and architecture.
• Technical knowledge of data replication and compression devices.
• Technical knowledge of OTV and VLAN extension.
• Manage to provide smooth data replication between datacentres.
• Provide monthly uptime report of PAN Pakistan sites.
• Design, manage, maintain and review the SOPs, documentations and diagrams and keep the network domain up to date.
• Supervise designing and evaluation of WAN systems.
• Maintain expert knowledge on all applications and its use on systems for various critical systems.
• Builds a high-performance team responsible for maintaining PAN Pakistan network availability of branches, off-site, RHQ, data-centres, UAT,OTV and campuses, external services like RAAST and RTGS.
• He should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team-building, staff training and scheduling knowledge base activities.
• To provide technical support in new deployments as well as maintenance of existing core devices of WAN Operations all over Pakistan.
• Project initiative, designing, LLD/HLD preparation with the partners.
• Coordination with the bank IT audit and compliance to follow the central bank framework.
• Manage and supervise the NOC Leads for maximum client centricity and uptime of nationwide network.
• Vendor management and coordination with ISP’s for better connectivity and infrastructure.
• Timely renewal of licensing, partner contracts, inventory etc.

Technical Support

• To provide technical support in new deployments as well as maintenance of existing core devices of WAN Operations at DC.
• To have good technical Networks understanding and working expertise.
• Monitor all activities related WAN Network Infrastructure plans.
• Ensure client satisfaction and provide optimal level of customer services for various departments.
• Extensive knowledge of Network operations and WAN technologies.

Communication

• To coordinate with NOC Leads all over Pakistan.
• He has in-depth understanding of communication technologies like WAN technologies and telecommunications systems.
• Project Implementation and designing.
• Coordination with vendors.

Team Management

• Builds a high-performance team responsible for maintaining WAN network.
• He should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Preferably Certified Network Engineer/Professional

Minimum experience:

• 15+ years
