We secure new and maintain existing physical locations in order to meet the needs of the many people. We provide strategic insight based on our knowledge and understanding of the real estate portfolio in Ingka. We take the lead in delivering safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solutions.

• You have a technical background (mechanics, electricity etc.)
• You have at least 5 years of experience in facility management.
• You have experience in managing and coordinating with external service providers, preferably in a high-volume retail sector.
• You have proven skills in developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.
• You have very good knowledge of planning, organizing and managing costs and expenses.
• You have a very good understanding of important FM business processes (e.g. work order management for urgent, scheduled and reactive maintenance, contract and supplier management)
• You are a strong communicator with the ability to influence decisions. In this role you see yourself as a link between the national organization, our Stores and suppliers.
• You have an effective way of working, you have strong analytical skills with the ability to react flexibly to changes.
• You communicate confidently in German and English (business fluent), both spoken and written.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
• Implement relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions that meet the needs of the business and the many people.
• Lead and manage the execution of Ingka Facility Management (FM) within the unit through the unit FM team.
• Responsible to optimize the efficiency of each property in a sustainable way.
• Ensure that co-workers, service providers and external partners have up-to-date awareness and understanding of all FM frameworks, guidelines and initiatives.
• Responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit.
• Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating external suppliers on unit level.
• Manage relationships with Business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups.
• Responsible for building your team, developing your team's competence, performance and ensuring a succession plan in the unit.
