Job Description



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
• Responsible to make sure that each property is managed throughout its lifetime including safety, compliance, maintenance and improvement to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
• Implement relevant property management innovations, digital and technical solutions that meet the needs of the business and the many people
• Responsible to optimize the efficiency of each property in a sustainable way
• Ensure that colleagues, service providers and external partners have up-to-date awareness and understanding of all FM frameworks, guidelines and initiatives
• Responsible for all activities related to long term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow up, forecasting and reporting within the FM scope within the unit
• Implement and evaluate supplier contracts at unit level in alignment with internal governance structure for supplier contracts to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality
• Responsible for managing and coordinating external suppliers on unit level
• Manage relationships with business owners within the unit to ensure business needs are met by collecting requirements, setting annual goals and periodic follow ups
• Responsible for developing the team’s competence, performance and ensuring a succession plan in the unit

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
• Supplier management: extensive knowledge of external service provider framework and coordination of external suppliers
• Project management: general knowledge of how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a project
• Sustainability aspects in Facility Management: good knowledge of how sustainability interacts with FM (energy consumption, water consumption, emissions, waste management, chemical products, purchasing)
• Facility Management business processes: good understanding of the main FM business processes on unit level
• Technical knowledge on buildings and equipment: high level technical understanding and experience in all aspects of a retail building and connected equipment as well as understanding of FM asset management (maintenance and repair history, reinvestment planning)
• Facility Management hard (technical) services: general knowledge of how to successfully deliver, organise and follow up on 'hard' & ‘soft’ FM services (technical maintenance, various equipment, cleaning, pest control, snow removal, waste management etc)
• IT tools relevant for Facility Management: general knowledge of all relevant IT tools within Facility Management
• Good knowledge of English and Italian language

WHAT WE OFFER
Permanent contract classified at Level 2 under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for Contratto Collettivo Distribuzione Moderna Organizzata. The annual gross salary for this position starts from €37.500.
