Job Description

Summary:

The Loan Servicing Analysis and Support Analyst serves as a subject matter resource responsible for the comprehensive analysis and resolution of commercial bilateral loan inquiries. Leveraging complex document review, amortization analysis, and system comparison, the Analyst synthesizes findings into clear, actionable guidance that enables bankers and relationship managers to effectively address customer inquiries.

Role Responsibility:

Analysis of servicing commercial bilateral loans by processing operational transactions in full adherence to internal policies, loan documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all work products while consistently meeting established service level agreements (SLAs) and quality benchmarks.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve discrepancies through complex document review, amortization analysis, and system comparison, ensuring actions and outcomes are appropriately documented.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of commercial loan portfolios and loan histories to identify trends and critical data points; develop and maintain reporting to quantify financial impacts and inform decision-making.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, accessible guidance that supports bankers and relationship managers in resolving customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrate a high level of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities, including diligent follow-through on all open items.
  • Interpret loan documentation, servicing requirements, and procedural guidance, applying sound judgment and adaptability within a dynamic operational landscape.
  • Proactively identify process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, escalating observations through appropriate governance channels.
  • Cultivate effective working relationships with internal partners across Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other functional teams engaged in commercial loan servicing.
  • Analyze and interpret reporting and operational data pertaining to commercial loan posting activities.
  • Job Description:
  • The role demands a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and rigorous adherence to established procedures within a high-volume operational environment.
  • The position encompasses a spectrum of servicing activities ranging from routine to moderately complex, including the investigation and resolution of discrepancies, thorough review of loan information, and stewardship of accurate data within the commercial lending system of record (AFS). The Analyst exercises sound, independent judgment within established parameters and appropriately escalates complex or non-routine matters as circumstances warrant.
  • The Analyst contributes to successful completion of customer remediation events and to strategic process improvements and system-related initiatives.
  • Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational discipline, advanced analytical capability, and the demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while operating effectively both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Required skills:
  • • Preferred experience with complex bilateral commercial loans
  • Preferred experience with AFS level III, amortizations and financial impact analysis
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong organizational discipline and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including proficiency in Excel and reporting.
  • Sound, independent judgment with the ability to interpret loan documentation and procedural guidance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear guidance.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Basic Qualification -
  • bachelor’s degree.
