Job Description

Location: Wangen b. Dübendorf

Your mission:

In this role, you play a crucial part in managing and maintaining our Unified Communication & Collaboration systems. You design, implement and operate modern, secure and scalable M365-based workplace communication services and ensure that our users can rely on them every day. You work across Microsoft Teams (incl. Telephony), Exchange Online, OneDrive/SharePoint, Copilot and meeting room infrastructure, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

Your tasks:

  • Design, implement and operate M365-based UCC services, telephony integrations, meeting room solutions
  • Lead UCC-related initiatives from conception to completion, acting as technical lead and ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and problems, including 3rd level support and root cause analysis
  • Actively improve reliability, security and scalability through monitoring, standardisation, lifecycle management and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, the Corporate IT user community and other stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, business‑ready solutions
  • Coordinate with external service providers and partners to ensure stable, high‑quality services
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and the development of best practices within the team

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT or engineering relevant subject
  • First experience in Unified Communication & Collaboration engineering, ideally in a Microsoft 365 environment
  • Ideally hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Teams Phone, SIP/VoIP fundamentals and meeting room solutions
  • Problem solving: You seek accurate information to analyze problems, break down complex issues into manageable parts, and approach solutions in a systematic and structured way
  • Teamwork: You engage in interactions with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
  • Continuous learning: You are curious and actively seek out and engage in learning opportunities and transfer the acquired knowledge in your daily work
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in both German and English
