As an intern you will join the Data Science & AI team to design and develop modern healthcare applications integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. This internship provides the opportunity to work on cloud-based solutions hosted on AWS and Azure, supporting healthcare innovation through web, mobile, and backend application development.

Projects may involve the integration of Computer Vision models, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud-native applications, and healthcare workflows. Interns will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical discussions
• Develop frontend applications using modern web technologies
• Develop backend services and APIs to support healthcare applications
• Integrate AI services such as Computer Vision and LLMs into software systems
• Deploy and test applications in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
• Support application enhancement, bug fixing, and feature development
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and healthcare stakeholders
• Participate in Agile project activities including sprint planning, testing, and project reviews
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and testing results

About You:

• Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern web development technologies (e.g. React, Angular, or similar frameworks)
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, system integration, and client-server architecture
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
• Experience in AI integration, mobile application development, or backend development is a plus
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
